Parkerization Process

Equipment:
-3 Pots (water, degreaser, parkerize solution)
-1 Can of Carb or Brake Cleaner
-1 Gallon of Degreaser (409 degreaser from Lowes $8)
-Manganese Solution & dewater Solution (Bookmarks: Guns: Parkerization Process: 8 oz….)
-1 toothbrush


1.Dissaemble Weapon
2.Soak parts in carb Cleaner or Brake cleaner
3.Scrub parts with toothbrush
4.Boil parts in Degreaser
5.Place parts in dewater Solution
6.Bring Maganese Solution to temperature
7.Shake dewater solution off and dry off
8.Immediately place parts in Manganese Solution for required time
9.Place in hot water and rinse
10.Place parts in Dewater Solution
